Chinese Name : 摩顶细辛膏
Drug Formulation
3 liang of Asarum, 3 liang of Angelica sinensis, 2 liang of Cinnamon bark, 2 liang of Aconite (peel and navel removed; used raw), 1.5 liang of White Angelica, 1 liang of Ligusticum, 1 liang of Dried Ginger, 2 liang of Aconite (peel and navel removed; used raw), 4 liang of Pine and Cypress leaves, 5 jin of Raw Rehmannia (extract natural juice), 1 liang of Cinnabar (finely ground), and 3 jin of pork fat.

Processing
Pound and sift the ingredients until they are the size of sesame seeds. Soak them in the Rehmannia juice overnight. First, simmer the pork fat to render out the tendons and membranes; remove from heat and let cool. Add the Rehmannia juice and the soaked herbs, then simmer until the Angelica dahurica turns yellow. Strain out the residue, add the cinnabar powder, and stir continuously with a willow wood spatula until the mixture solidifies. Store in a porcelain box.
