Formulas Name : Six-Ash Decoction
Chinese Name : 六灰煎膏
Drug Formulation
5 sheng of quicklime, half a sheng of Tribulus terrestris ash, half a sheng of Pulsatilla chinensis ash, half a sheng of mulberry wood ash, half a sheng of white oak ash (if unavailable, substitute with mugwort ash), and half a sheng of Euphorbia humifusa ash.

Processing
Mix the above ingredients together and steam them in a clay steamer for one fu time. Then, pour 2 sheng of the liquid from the pot over the mixture to extract the ash juice. Simmer this in a copper vessel until it becomes a paste, and store it in a porcelain container.

Instructions for Use
First wash the sore with salt water, then apply the ointment to the affected area 3–5 times a day. It will heal immediately.
