Chinese Name : 蛇衔膏
Drug Formulation
1 liang of Snake’s Mouth, 1 liang of Rhubarb, 1 liang of Aconite, 1 liang of Angelica, 1 liang of Peony, 1 liang of Asarum, 1 liang of Scutellaria, 1 liang of Pepper, 1 liang of Mangcao, 1 liang of Du Huo, and 4 stalks of dried Leek.

Processing
Soak the above herbs in vinegar overnight; add 3 jin of lard and simmer over a “Seven-Star” fire until boiling; strain to remove the residue.

For abscesses and swellings, stagnant blood from traumatic injuries, postpartum blood stasis, various disorders of the ears and eyes, and “ox-jaw” and “saddle” sores.
Instructions for Use
Take one dose the size of a marble each time, mixed with warm wine, twice daily; for external conditions, apply topically; for ear ailments, wrap in cotton and insert into the ear; for eye ailments, instill a quantity the size of a millet seed into the inner corner of the eye.
