Drug Formulation
2 liang of Coptis, 3 liang of Phellodendron, 5 qian of Gentiana, 5 qian of Saposhnikovia, 5 qian of Rheum, 5 qian of Red Peony, 5 qian of Scutellaria, 5 qian of Angelica, 5 qian of Gardenia, 2 qian of White Chrysanthemum, and 2 qian of Borneol (In another formula, the root of the Chinese juniper tree may be added in any amount.Soak the ingredients in medicinal water, calcine and quench calamine, and store according to the same methods as for Yang Dan), 1 liang of calamine, 2 qian of cinnabar, 2 qian of borax, 3 fen of musk, and 1 fen of white alum (raw).
