Processing

Use 2 jin of sesame oil. Soak the herbs in the oil for 3 days, then simmer in a pot until the mixture turns black. Strain out the residue and stir with a branch of locust or willow. Next, add the beeswax and colophony, followed by the finely ground herbs and oil. Continue heating until a drop of the mixture forms a bead when dropped into water and does not disperse; at this point, transfer it to a porcelain container.

Instructions for Use

Apply the ointment to the lumbar region using a piece of silk or satin cloth. Before applying this ointment, first use the “Cai Jiu Yi Dan” ointment to rub the lumbar region for 3 days, then apply this ointment.
