Red Cinnabar 1 liang, Asparagus Root 1 liang, Ophiopogon Tuber 1 liang, Raw Rehmannia Root 1 liang, Prepared Rehmannia Root 1 liang, Purple-tipped Flower 1 liang, Cnidium Fruit 1 liang, Deer Antler 1 liang, Eupatorium Herb 1 liang, Fangfeng Root 1 liang, Scrophularia Root 1 liang, Magnolia Bark 1 liang, Tiger Bone 1 liang,Dodder Seed 1 liang, Frankincense 1 liang, Clove Bud 1 qian 5 fen, Cinnamon Bark 1 qian 5 fen, Sichuan Duan 1 qian 5 fen, Red Peony Root 1 qian 5 fen, Astragalus Root 1 qian 5 fen, Cistanche 1 qian 5 fen, White Dragon Bone 1 qian 5 fen, Eucommia Bark 1 qian 5 fen, Aconite Root 1 piece (raw),100 Castor Seeds (oil removed), 1.5 qian Pangolin Scale, 2 qian Earthworm (soil removed), 1 qian Tylophora Seed (shell removed but oil retained, sliced), 1 qian Japanese Sulfur, 1 qian Myrrh, 1 qian Dragon’s Blood, 2 qian Frankincense, 4 qian Rosin, 4 qian Beeswax, a small amount of Musk.

Processing
Use 2 jin of sesame oil. Soak the herbs in the oil for 3 days, then simmer in a pot until the mixture turns black. Strain out the residue and stir with a branch of locust or willow. Next, add the beeswax and colophony, followed by the finely ground herbs and oil. Continue heating until a drop of the mixture forms a bead when dropped into water and does not disperse; at this point, transfer it to a porcelain container.
Instructions for Use
Apply the ointment to the lumbar region using a piece of silk or satin cloth. Before applying this ointment, first use the “Cai Jiu Yi Dan” ointment to rub the lumbar region for 3 days, then apply this ointment.
