Instructions for Use

Chop the ingredients, place them in a crimson pouch, and suspend it in a well at noon on the last day of the 12th month, allowing it to sink to the bottom of the mud. Retrieve the medicine at dawn on the first day of the first month, decoct it in wine until it boils several times, and drink it while standing in a room facing east. Start with a small amount and adjust the quantity as desired; if one person drinks it, the entire household will be free from epidemics.
