Drug Formulation

Qianghuo 1 liang, Duhuo 1 liang, Niuxi (stems removed) 1 liang, Fuzi (roasted until cracked, skin and navel removed) 1 liang, Bai Jili (lightly roasted, thorns removed) 1 liang, Chuanxiong 1 liang, Niubangzi 1 liang, Haitongpi (chopped) 1 liang, Fangfeng (root tip removed) 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take 7 sheng of black beans, rinse them thoroughly, and simmer in 3 dou of water to reduce the liquid to 2 sheng. Strain out the beans, add half of the herbal powder, and mix well. Transfer the mixture to a silver pot and simmer over low heat until it becomes a paste. Then add the remaining herbal powder and roll into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Take 20 pills at a time, washed down with warm wine, at any time of day.
