Drug Formulation

Half a jin of Rehmannia glutinosa (chopped and stir-fried until blackish-yellow), 3 liang of Cornus officinalis, 2 liang of Citrus aurantium peel (white pith removed), 2 liang of Smilax glabra, 2 liang of dried ginger, 2 liang of pomegranate peel, and 1.5 liang of Magnolia officinalis (roasted with ginger juice until it turns yellow and emits a fragrant aroma).

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; form into pills the size of a paulownia seed using vinegar paste.
