Drug Formulation

White Gypsum (lightly calcined, ground into a fine powder until completely free of residue) 2 liang; Rhubarb (the “brocade-patterned” variety; crushed without contact with iron utensils into bean-sized pieces, soaked in good wine for half a day, steamed until tender, then sun-dried—repeat this process nine times); 2 liang; Sliced Scutellaria (washed with wine) 1.5 liang; Dried Tangerine Peel 1.5 liang; Forsythia (stems removed, washed with wine) 1 liang;Chuanxiong 1 liang, Platycodon root 1 liang, Fritillaria bulb 1 liang, Dried bear bile half a liang, Pinellia tuber half a liang, Suzhou peppermint leaves half a liang, Cyperus rhizome half a liang.

Processing

Carefully prepare each of the above herbs, grind them into an extremely fine powder, and mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a marble.
