Chinese Name : 五加皮散
Drug Formulation
1 liang of Acanthopanax bark, 1 liang of Cinnamon bark, 1.5 liang of Ligusticum root, 1 liang of Notopterygium root, 1.5 liang of Gentiana root (stems removed), 1.5 liang of Saposhnikovia root (root tips removed), 1 liang of Apricot kernels (soaked in hot water, skin, tips, and double kernels removed, then stir-fried with wheat bran until slightly yellow),1 liang of Smilax glabra (chopped), 1 liang of Trifoliate Orange Peel (stir-fried with bran until slightly yellow, pith removed), 1.5 liang of Angelica sinensis (chopped, lightly roasted), 1 liang of Aconite (roasted until cracked, skin and navel removed), 1 liang of Achyranthes bidentata (stems removed), 1 liang of Coix seed, 1 liang of Salvia miltiorrhiza.

Grind the above ingredients into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use
Take 5 qian per dose. Boil in 1 large bowl of water with half a fen of fresh ginger until reduced to 5 fen. Strain and take warm on an empty stomach; take another dose after a considerable time has passed. Cover yourself with clothing; it is best to induce a light sweat.
Note
Avoid raw and cold foods, greasy foods, toxic and slippery substances, and foods that stir up wind.
