Drug Formulation

1 jin of Acanthopanax bark, 2 sheng of Trifoliate Orange thorns (crushed and roasted), 8 liang of Sichuan pepper root bark, 8 liang of Salvia miltiorrhiza, 3 liang of Cinnamon bark, 3 liang of Angelica sinensis, 3 liang of licorice (roasted),4 liang of Aconite Root (roasted), 4 liang of Sichuan Pepper (sweated), 4 liang of White Fresh Bark, 4 liang of Tongcao, 5 liang of Ligusticum Root, 5 liang of Dried Ginger, half a sheng of Coix Seed, and 3 sheng of Hemp Seed (ground into powder).

Processing

Coarsely crush the ingredients, place them in a silk bag, and steep in 4 dou of wine; steep for 4 nights in spring and summer, and 6–7 nights in autumn and winter.

Instructions for Use

Initial dose: 6–7 he. Gradually increase the dose until the desired effect is achieved.

Note

Avoid raw green onions, pork, cold water, seaweed, and Chinese cabbage.
