Drug Formulation
1 white flower snake (wash with warm water; remove 3 cun from both head and tail; soak in wine to remove bones and spines; use 1 liang of clean meat), 1 qian of whole scorpion (roasted), 1 qian of Angelica sinensis, 1 qian of Saposhnikovia divaricata, 1 qian of Notopterygium incisum, 5 qian of Dehuo, 5 qian of Angelica dahurica, 5 qian of Gastrodia elata, 5 qian of Paeonia rubra, 5 qian of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, and 5 qian of Cimicifuga foetida.

Processing
Coarsely chop the ingredients, place them in a silk bag, and store. Steam 2 dou of glutinous rice until cooked, then brew wine as usual. Place the bag in the fermentation vat. Once the wine is ready, remove it along with the bag, seal the container tightly, and boil until thoroughly cooked. Store in a shaded place for 7 days to remove toxins.
