Chinese Name : 沉香降气丹

Drug Formulation

Black Pharbitis (use the head and tip) 3 liang, Rhubarb 1 liang (steamed with wine), Areca Nut 1 liang, Angelica sinensis 1 liang (soaked in wine), Galangal 2 qian, Atractylodes lancea 1 liang, Green Tangerine Peel (roasted) 1 liang, Dried Tangerine Peel 5 qian, Lindera 1 liang, Amomum villosum 5 qian, Trifoliate Orange Peel (roasted with wheat bran) 1 liang,Zhishi (fried with wheat bran) 5 qian, Xiangfu 1 liang (roasted), Agarwood 3 qian, Sanling 3 qian (roasted over fire), Banxia (processed) 5 qian, MuXiang 3 qian, E Zhu 3 qian (roasted over fire), Huanglian 1 liang (fried with ginger juice), Huangqin 1 liang (fried with wine).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with wine paste to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.
