Drug Formulation

1 liang of Acorus tatarinowii (roasted), 1 liang of Curcuma zedoaria (roasted), 7 qian and a half of Citrus aurantium peel (pith removed), 7 qian and a half of Schisandra chinensis (stems removed), 7 qian and a half of Cinnamomum cassia (coarse bark removed, not heated), 7 qian and a half of Sichuan pepper (seeds and joined pods removed, stir-fried until sweating),Fennel (rinsed to remove sand, stir-fried) 7 qian and a half, Sichuan Melia Fruit (processed, peel removed) 7 qian and a half, Peach Kernel (stir-fried) 7 qian and a half, Morinda Root (core removed) 7 qian and a half, Aconite Root (processed, peel and navel removed) half liang, Fenugreek (stir-fried) half liang, Areca Nut half liang, Polygonum Multiflorum (stir-fried) half liang,Cornus fruit (soaked in boiling water 7 times, then stir-fried) half liang, Frankincense (not exposed to fire) half liang, Agarwood (not exposed to fire) half liang, Asafoetida (soaked in vinegar, sand and stones removed, ground into a paste) half liang, Calomel 3 qian (washed with vinegar), Whole scorpion half liang (de-poisoned).
