Half a liang of cinnabar, 1 fen of sodium carbonate, half a liang of rock salt, 1 liang of white alum, and 1 liang of yellow lead oxide.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, place in a porcelain jar, seal the jar tightly, and calcine over 7 jin of charcoal fire until the mixture glows red. Allow to cool, remove, grind finely, and form into pills the size of mung beans using wheat flour paste.

Instructions for Use

Take 10 pills daily on an empty stomach, washed down with congee.
