Drug Formulation
1 qian of Amber, 1 qian of Saponaria root, 1 qian of Frankincense, 3 qian of Calcined Human Nasal Mucus, 3 qian of Mercury Oxide, 3 qian of Realgar, 3 qian of Cinnabar, 3 qian of Frankincense (oil removed), 3 qian of Myrrh (oil removed), 3 qian of White Angelica, 2 qian of Angelica sinensis, 3 fen of Western Ox-gall, 1 liang of Acacia flowers (roasted),Cloves (spring, summer) 1 qian 5 fen; (fall, winter) 3 qian.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into an extremely fine powder, then form into pills the size of a radish seed using wine paste.

For gangrenous sores and all types of chronic abscesses that have long been ulcerated, with pus and exudate that do not subside.
Instructions for Use
Initially take 5 pills; after 5 days, take 7 pills; after another 5 days, take 9 pills; after yet another 5 days, return to 7 pills; after another 5 days, take only 5 pills. Repeat this cycle indefinitely, always taking the pills with a decoction of Smilax glabra and licorice.
