Drug Formulation

Asparagus root (core removed, roasted) 3 liang, Ophiopogon tuber (core removed, roasted) 3 liang, Fritillaria bulb (core removed, roasted) 3 liang, Aster root (soil removed) 3 liang, Lily bulb 3 liang, Platycodon root (roasted) 3 liang,Ginseng 3 liang, Apricot Kernels (soaked in hot water, with skin, tip, and double kernels removed, then stir-fried) 3 liang, Raw Rehmannia (roasted) 3 liang, Cinnamon Bark (with coarse bark removed) 3 liang, Pinellia (boiled in water until soft, sliced, and roasted dry) 3 liang, Licorice (roasted) 3 liang, Donkey-hide Gelatin (stir-fried until boiling) 3 liang, Aged Tangerine Peel (soaked in hot water, with white pith removed) 3 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Cook glutinous rice flour with 1 liang of beeswax into a porridge; add honey and simmer until well blended. Mix with the powdered medicine to form pills the size of cherries.

Instructions for Use
