Chinese Name : 茵陈蒿散

Drug Formulation

1 liang of Yinchenhao, 1 liang of Scutellaria baicalensis (with the black core removed), 1 liang of Gardenia seeds, 1 liang of Isatis indigotica, 5 liang of rhubarb (chopped), 5 liang of natron, 1.5 liang of Cortex Phellodendri, 1.5 liang of Pueraria root (chopped), and 1.5 liang of Cimicifuga.

Grind the above ingredients into a powder.

For acute jaundice with abdominal pain.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with freshly drawn water. Recovery follows once bowel movements occur.
