Chinese Name : 蜣龙丸

Drug Formulation

1 jin of earthworms (those found growing in chive fields; wash off the mud with wine, roast dry on a tile, and grind into powder), 8 dung beetles (roast dry and grind into powder), 5 qian of hedgehog skin (with quills; roast and grind into powder), 1 liang of genuine ivory shavings (ground into a fine powder), and 1 liang of Sichuan pangolin scales (stir-fried in sesame oil until golden, then ground into a fine powder).

Processing

Mix the ingredients thoroughly, grind them again, and combine with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Benefits

For all chronic, long-standing ulcerous infections that have formed fistulas, with intermittent discharge of pus and blood, and which have failed to heal for a long time.

Instructions for Use

Adults should take 8 fen per dose; children, 5 fen per dose, washed down with boiled water. Once the entire course of the medicine is taken, the abscess will naturally extrude section by section; cut away the decayed tissue, and upon completion of the treatment, the abscess will disappear entirely.

Note

Avoid certain foods for 100 days.
