Instructions for Use

Boil in 4 sheng of water, skim off the foam, reduce to 2 sheng, strain out the residue, add 1 spoonful of rice and fermented soybeans, and cook into a thin porridge, yielding about 1 sheng. First, bathe in hot water and pour over the head more than 100 bowls, then consume the porridge. Cover yourself well to induce sweating; this is best done at night.
