Drug Formulation

Bai Ji: half liang; Mitusang (ground): half liang; Licorice: half liang; Phellodendron (coarse bark removed): half liang; Coptis (stems removed): half liang; Talc: half liang; Musk (ground): 1 zi.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder and mix with saliva to form a paste.

Take ash-free white, thin paper; depending on the size of the sore, apply the ointment to the paper and affix it to the affected area; replace it as needed.
