Drug Formulation

Astragalus (stir-fried in salt water) 1 liang, Chinese yam 1 liang, Schisandra berries 1 liang, Polygonum multiflorum (stir-fried in salt water) 1 liang, Ginseng 1 liang, White peony root (stir-fried in wine) 1 liang 5 fen, Prepared rehmannia root 4 liang, Goji berries 1 liang, Achyranthes root (soaked in wine) 2 liang, Cuscuta seeds (stir-fried in wine) 1 liang, Sichuan angelica root 2 liang (washed in wine),Atractylodes macrocephala 1 liang (roasted), Eucommia ulmoides (roasted with ginger juice) 2 liang, Tiger leg bone (roasted with ghee) 1 liang, Turtle shell (roasted with ghee) 1 liang, Atractylodes lancea (soaked in rice water) 3 liang, Phellodendron amurense (roasted with salt water) 2 liang, Saposhnikovia divaricata 6 qian (washed with wine), Notopterygium incisum 5 qian (washed with wine), Stephania tetrandra 5 qian (washed with wine).

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Use 7 strands of pig spinal cord and refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.
