Drug Formulation

1 liang of Ming-style realgar, 2 liang of raw Jinwen, and 4 qian of croton seed powder (select the white flesh, wrap in paper, and press to remove all oil).

Processing

Grind each ingredient into a fine powder, add 5–6 qian of refined wheat flour, and mix with rice vinegar to form pills the size of a impatiens seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 5–7 pills per dose; for the most severe cases, do not exceed 12 pills. Do not exceed this dosage. Swallow with warm water. If diarrhea occurs 1–2 times, have mung bean soup ready and drink a few sips while cold to stop it immediately. For children with phlegm-food stagnation syndrome, fever, and constipation, take 2–3 pills each time, grind them into a fine powder, and feed it to the child. The condition will resolve after one episode of diarrhea.

Note

Do not use in individuals with deficiency constitutions or pregnant women.
