Formulas Name : Calm-the-Mind Pill

Chinese Name : 宁神丹

Drug Formulation

1 jin of lotus stamen, 1 jin of stone lotus seed, 12 liang of euryale seed, and 4 liang of ophiopogon tuber.

From *Xian Nian Ji*, Volume 2.

Processing

Take 1 boar’s stomach, add 1 jin of lotus seed meat, place in a clay pot, and boil in water until tender. Remove the stomach, sun-dry the lotus seed meat, grind it into a fine powder with the other ingredients, and mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 100 pills per dose on an empty stomach, washed down with lotus stamen decoction.
