Drug Formulation
1 large yellow cucumber (seeds removed), Sichuan rhubarb (wrapped in damp paper and roasted until the paper is charred), Coptis chinensis, Bupleurum (root removed), soft-shelled turtle shell (roasted with vinegar until yellow), aloe, green tangerine peel, and Phellodendron—each in equal parts.

Processing
Grind all ingredients except the cucumber into a fine powder. Cut off the ends of the cucumber, fill it completely with the powdered mixture, cover the opening, secure it with a wooden stick, and bake over low heat until cooked through. Shape into pills the size of mung beans using wheat flour paste.

Instructions for Use
Take 2–3 pills per dose after meals, washed down with cold fruit juice or fresh water; for older children, take 5 or 7–10 pills.
