Drug Formulation

7 pieces of Chinese fir knots (finely chopped), 5 liang of Sufang wood (finely chopped; decocted with 1 dou of water to yield 1 sheng; strain out the residue), 5 he of vinegar (added to the Sufang wood decoction).

Processing

Place the cypress wood in a sand basin and roast it over low heat, gradually drizzling in the Su Fang wood vinegar decoction as you go. Continue roasting until all the liquid has evaporated, then let it cool and grind into a fine powder.
