Formulas Name : Chen Sha Li Tan Pills
Chinese Name : 辰砂利痰丸
Drug Formulation
Shenqu (roasted until yellow): half a jin; wheat bran: half a jin; aged tangerine peel: 4 liang (white pith removed); white alum (sifted): 3.5 liang; soapberry (roasted until yellow, seeds removed, and fried with butter): 3.5 liang;Tiannanxing (processed) 3 liang and a half, Banxia (washed in boiling water 7 times) 3 liang and a half, Xiangbai Zhi (simmered with Banxia in 1 jin and a half of good wine until thoroughly softened, then sun-dried) 3 liang and a half.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using ginger juice and wheat flour paste as binders, and coat each pill with one liang of cinnabar.

Instructions for Use
Take 60–70 pills per dose, washed down with decocted ginger tea; take at any time; clear tea is also acceptable.
