Formulas Name : Yuanhua Decoction Pills
Chinese Name : 芫花煎丸
Drug Formulation
1 liang of Yanhua (ground into a powder; simmer with 3 sheng of good vinegar until it becomes a paste), half a liang of Wood Fragrance, half a liang of Aconite (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed), half a liang of Amber,1 liang of peach kernels (soaked in hot water, with skin, tip, and double kernels removed, then stir-fried with wheat bran until slightly yellow), 1 liang of angelica root (chopped, lightly stir-fried), 1 liang of realgar (finely ground), 1 liang of dried lacquer (crushed, then stir-fried until smoke rises), and 1 liang of Beijing-style cyperus (lightly roasted, chopped, and lightly stir-fried).

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a powder, mix them into the Yanhua ointment prepared earlier, add a small amount of honey, and simmer until well blended. Form into pills the size of a paulownia seed.
