Drug Formulation
1 female chicken (defeathered, skinned, deboned, and gutted), 1 qian 5 fen of calcined gypsum (ground into powder).

Processing
Mix the ingredients thoroughly, divide the mixture into seven portions, place each portion into a separate earthenware vessel, seal tightly, and coat the entire surface of each vessel with a mixture of salt and mud. Then burn them all—starting with a low flame and gradually increasing to a high flame. After a short while, remove from the fire, grind into a fine powder, and form into pills with a paste.

Instructions for Use
Take the contents of one pot daily, washed down with a decoction of the Wind-Seeking and Toxin-Resolving Decoction; the full course should be completed within 7 days. Within the first 2–3 days of treatment, the patient may experience slight numbness in the limbs; by the 6th–7th day, the entire body will become weak and numb. Even if weakness and numbness do not occur, the patient will certainly experience dizziness and confusion; in such cases, discontinue further treatment.
Note
Avoid cold foods, fish, cuttlefish, vinegar, alcohol, and sexual activity.
