Benefits
For cases of cold damage or warm diseases where the intense heat of the Yangming channel has subsided, and the patient is either inherently deficient, elderly, or physically frail; or presents with shortness of breath, cough, or excessive phlegm, with breathing appearing severely inadequate.
Instructions for Use
First, decoct the Chinese yam to yield one large bowl of broth. Then, mix the remaining three ingredients into the bowl. Divide the mixture into three doses and drink it warm, taking one dose approximately every two hours. If the medicine has cooled, warm the bowl of medicine in hot water before taking it; however, do not overheat it, as this may cook the egg yolks, rendering the remedy ineffective.
