Drug Formulation

Mineral lime (hydrated and ground into powder) 5 qian.

From *The Golden Mirror*, Volume 63.

Processing

Take half a tea cup of concentrated lye water and pour it over the lime powder, ensuring the lye water level is two finger-widths above the lime. Then scatter 50 glutinous rice grains over the lime. As the lye water seeps down, add more rice gradually. Soak for one day and one night (or two days and one night in winter). Remove the rice and pound it into a paste.

Instructions for Use

Apply a small amount to the mole. Do not apply too much, lest it damage healthy skin.
