Drug Formulation

2 liang of sulfur, 1 liang of Achyranthes root, 1 liang of Terminalia chebula bark, 1 fen of Aconite root (raw, with skin and pith removed), 1 liang of licorice, 2 liang of dried ginger, and 2 liang of red pepper.

Processing

Except for sulfur, coarsely chop all ingredients and place them in a silk bag. Place the sulfur in a separate small bag and position it at the center of the main bag. Add 1 dou of water and decoct until reduced to 1 sheng.

Instructions for Use

Divide into 3 doses; take each dose in the morning. Except for licorice, dry the remaining decoction residue in an oven, grind it into a fine powder, and sift it. Grind the sulfur separately into a fine powder. Mix them evenly, then combine with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed. Take 20 pills per dose on an empty stomach before meals, washed down with aged rice water.
