Drug Formulation

Dried tangerine peel 1 liang, Cyperus rhizome 1 liang, rhubarb (baked) half a liang, wood fragrant half a liang, blue calcined stone (calcined) half a liang, spotted blister beetle (body only) 3 liang, white clove (with curled tips) half a liang, green ladybug (body only) 1 qian, horsefly (body only) 2 qian, Beijing ink (burned until all smoke dissipates) 3 qian,1 qian of musk, half a liang of Sanling, half a liang of Pengshu, 1 liang of croton seed (crushed with the shell and stir-fried), half a liang of dried lacquer (stir-fried until all smoke has dissipated), 1 liang of dried ginger, 5 areca nuts, 3 qian of Chinese bellflower (soaked in vinegar and baked dry), and leeches (stir-fried).

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, then form into pills the size of soapberry seeds using vinegar paste.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose, chewed and swallowed with vinegar-flavored broth. Diarrhea will subside after three bowel movements.

Note

Do not take during pregnancy or childbirth; those with organ deficiency should not take this formula; those with qi deficiency should reduce the dosage.
