Drug Formulation

3 liang of Jing Sanling, 2 liang of Guang Meng, 2.5 liang of dried lacquer (roasted until all smoke has dissipated), 2 liang of cinnabar,1 liang Sichuan anise, 1 liang Poguozhi (roasted), half a liang fenugreek (roasted), half a liang Sichuan苦楝, half a liang Morinda officinalis, half a liang red beans, half a liang cardamom, half a liang sea clam, half a liang Angelica sinensis, half a liang Pinellia ternata (washed in boiling water 7 times), half a liang realgar, half a liang myrrh, half a liang Ma-lin flowers (roasted),Yuanhua (stir-fried with vinegar until yellow) half liang, Leeches 1 qian (stir-fried until all smoke has dissipated), Safflower 1 qian, Aconite Root 1.5 liang (processed; peel and pith removed), Red Lady 2 qian (stir-fried with glutinous rice; discard the rice once it turns yellow), Gecko 1 (roasted with butter).

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a vinegar-and-flour paste to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
