Drug Formulation
1 liang of Dipsacus asper, 1 liang of Angelica sinensis, 1 liang of Cinnamomum cassia (inner bark), 4 liang of Dried Ginger, 4 liang of Dried Rehmannia glutinosa, 2 liang of Licorice, 1 liang of Pollen of Typha, 1 liang of Donkey-hide Gelatin.

Benefits
Damage caused by deficiency-cold in the lower jiao; blood may appear after a bowel movement or be present from the start—this is known as “distant bleeding.” Constipation or loose stools may occur, often triggered by physical exertion or exposure to cold.
Instructions for Use
Coarsely crush the ingredients. Boil in 9 sheng of water until reduced to 3.5 sheng; strain out the residue, add the donkey-hide gelatin and melt it, then add the pollen; divide into 3 doses.
Note
Avoid sea mustard, raw scallions, and wild mustard.
