Drug Formulation

Leeches (roast with glutinous rice in an earthenware pot until golden brown, then remove the residue) 3 qian, Dodder Seed 1 qian, Hair Ash 1 qian, High-quality Cotton Ash 1 qian, Myrrh 1 qian, Frankincense 1 qian, Dragon’s Blood 1 qian, Half a liang of qian and 1 wen (burned 7 times, quenched in vinegar 7 times, ground separately), Musk 1 qian (ground separately).

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose, mixed with hot wine. For injuries to the upper body, take after a meal; for injuries to the lower body, take on an empty stomach. After traveling approximately 6–7 li by cart, you will hear the bones making a sound.

Note

Avoid exposure to the vibrations of bells, drums, pestles, or mortars; avoid eating donkey meat.
