Drug Formulation
Angelica sinensis root (soaked in wine) 4 liang, Achyranthes bidentata (soaked in wine) 4 liang, Rehmannia glutinosa (raw) (soaked in wine) 4 liang, Rehmannia glutinosa (cooked) (soaked in wine) 4 liang, Scutellaria baicalensis (sliced) (soaked in wine) 4 liang, Ophiopogon japonicus (core removed, soaked in rice-washing water) 4 liang, Asparagus cochinchinensis (core removed, soaked in rice-washing water) 4 liang,Cornus officinalis 4 liang, Anemarrhena asphodeloides 4 liang (soaked in 2 liang each of salt and wine), Phellodendron amurense (peeled) 9 liang (soaked in 3 liang each of honey water, salt, and wine), Schisandra chinensis 2 liang, Ligusticum chuanxiong 2 liang, Dioscorea opposita 2 liang, Turtle shell (roasted with butter) 2 liang, Paeonia lactiflora (soaked in wine) 2 liang, Panax ginseng 6 qian.

Processing
Prepare the ingredients according to the prescribed method, sun-dry them, and avoid contact with iron utensils. Grind into an extremely fine powder. Use 3 jin of white honey, melted without exposure to direct heat. Drill a small hole in two sections of a bamboo tube, remove the pith, fill the tube with honey, and add one small cup of clear water to mix thoroughly. Seal tightly with seven layers of cotton paper, place the tube upright in a double-boiler, and simmer over a wood fire for one day and one night. Mix the mixture into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
Instructions for Use
Take 100 pills per dose, washed down with salted water in the early morning and with wine in the evening.
Note
This applies to both men and women. Starting from the day the medicine is taken, abstain from sexual intercourse for one month; the longer the abstinence, the better the results.
