Sun-dry the ingredients until completely dry; use a sharp knife to split them along the spine into two halves, one for the left side and one for the right. Grind each half separately into a fine powder—do not mix them—and store each in a separate pouch, labeling the pouches “left” and “right.”

Instructions for Use

When treating a patient, take about one character’s worth and snort it into the nostril on the affected side. Use the left side for the left side, and the right side for the right side. If both sides are affected, using the right side will stop the spasms on the right, and using the left side will stop them on the left; using either side will stop the spasms on both sides.
