Drug Formulation

Soft-shelled turtle shell (with skirt removed, vinegar-roasted) half liang, ginseng half liang, angelica root (hairs removed) 1 liang, wood fragrant half liang, green tangerine peel (white pith removed) 1 fen, fried trichosanthes fruit half liang, acorus rhizome half liang, myrrh 1 fen, dragon’s blood 1 fen (ground), areca nut 1 fen, pinellia rhizome 2 qian (raw).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from flour boiled in vinegar to form pills the size of mung beans.

Instructions for Use

Take 10 pills per dose; swallow with plain hot water, regardless of the time of day. Stop when bowel movements occur; if not, increase the dose to 50 pills, adjusting according to the need for bowel movement. Take this medicine only to gradually dissipate the masses; do not take large doses suddenly, as it is designed to gradually eliminate long-standing accumulations. Take only 1–2 doses per day.
