Drug Formulation

Amomum, red beans, dried tangerine peel, Cinnamomum cassia bark (if unavailable, substitute with cloves), Atractylodes macrocephala, Cyperus rotundus, Amomum villosum, Cinnamomum cassia, Curcuma zedoaria, Curcuma zedoaria, Aquilaria agallocha, Ziziphus jujuba peel (roasted), Citrus aurantium peel (roasted), barley malt (roasted), Myristica fragrans, Aquilaria agallocha, white cardamom, Piper longum, cloves, Amomum villosum, black pepper, and Bar霜.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with wine paste to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed, and coat them with soapberry red.

Instructions for Use

For adults, start with 11 pills and stop at 15; for children aged 2–3 years, 3 pills; for those aged 7, 7 pills; for those aged 11–12, 9 pills. If vomiting occurs, take with ginger soup; for dysentery with red and white stools caused by food stagnation, take with warm tea;To treat bloody dysentery in autumn and summer, use 5 qian of Elsholtzia and 3 qian of Coptis; reduce the dosage by half for children, and take with a decoction; for constipation, use 1 qian of Coptis, 1 qian of Scutellaria, 1 qian of Fructus Aurantii, 1 qian of Angelica, and 5 fen of Licorice; decoct in 1 zhong of water until reduced to 5 fen, then take with the decoction. After taking the medicine, have three bowel movements; if abdominal pain occurs, relieve it with one bowl of cold congee.
