Drug Formulation

Angelica sinensis root tip (washed with wine) 7 qian, natural copper (calcined with vinegar 7 times) 7 qian, peach kernels (with skin and tips removed) 7 qian, safflower 7 qian, aged hemp bark 3 qian, earth turtle (soaked in liquor, then roasted) 5 qian, Dipsacus asper (washed with wine, steamed) 2 qian,Rhubarb (washed with wine) 2 qian, Frankincense (oil removed) 5 fen, Myrrh (oil removed) 5 fen, Fetal Bone 5 fen, Dragon’s Blood 5 fen, Cinnabar 5 fen, Realgar 5 fen, Musk 5 fen.

Grind the above ingredients into an extremely fine powder; store in an airtight container.

Instructions for Use

In cases of death by fall or blow where a faint pulse remains, mix 2 li of the formula with wine and administer it; the patient will revive immediately upon ingestion. In cases of fractured bones with stagnant blood attacking the heart, administer 8 li of the formula mixed with wine; the injured bones will heal from the top down.
