Drug Formulation

Chuanxiong 6 fen, Danggui 1 qian 5 fen, Jianqu 1 qian 5 fen, Xiaqu 1 qian 5 fen, stir-fried Cangzhu 1 qian 5 fen, dried barley sprouts 1 qian, stir-fried Bai Shao 1 qian, Huoxiang leaves 1 qian, Yunling 2 qian, Danshen 2 qian, Da Sheng Di 3 qian (roasted), scallion 8 fen, stewed black ginger 1 qian.

Postpartum malaria.

Instructions for Use

After two doses, if the malaria attacks have stabilized, add 4 fen each of Cimicifuga and roasted Bupleurum, and 1 qian 5 fen each of raw and cooked Polygonum multiflorum to the formula. Administer two more doses; if the condition has not subsided, administer two additional doses. Follow with the Malaria-Relieving Decoction and Eight Treasures Decoction, alternating between them, and a gradual recovery can be expected.
