Atractylodes lancea 2 qian, Aquilaria agallocha 2 qian, Ligusticum chuanxiong 2 qian, Rheum palmatum 2 qian, Tiger skull bone 1 qian, Asarum sieboldii 1 qian, Axe-head wood (the wood where the handle joins the blade of an axe) 1 qian, Ghost arrow feather 1 qian, Peach owl (small dried peaches still on the tree) 1 qian, White sandalwood 1 qian, Rhododendron delavayi 1 qian,Qianghuo 1 qian, Licorice 1 qian, Aconite Root 1 qian, Gaoben 1 qian, White Angelica 1 qian, Schizonepeta 1 qian, Dried Kudzu 1 qian, Porcupine Quill 1 qian, Pangolin Scale 1 qian, Antelope Horn 1 qian, Red Date 1 qian, Dried Ginger 1 qian,Cinnamon Twig 1 qian, Aconite Root 1 qian, Calcined Stove Ash 1 qian, Sichuan Pepper 1 qian, San Nai 1 qian, Sweet Solomonseal 1 qian, Pai Cao 1 qian, Cassia Bark 1 qian (all coarsely ground together), Ming Xiong 2 qian, Cinnabar 2 qian, Frankincense 1 qian, Myrrh 1 qian (these four ingredients ground separately).

Instructions for Use
Mix the ingredients as described above. Place approximately 2–3 qian of the powdered mixture into a crimson pouch—do not use too little—and have every member of the household wear it. Inhale the scent frequently; those already ill will recover more easily, and those not yet ill will remain uninfected.
