Chinese Name : 甘家松脂膏

Drug Formulation

1 liang of pine resin, 1 liang of white frankincense, 1 liang of agarwood, 1.5 liang of angelica root, 1.5 liang of beeswax, 1 liang of licorice (all sliced), half a he of pork fat, slightly less than half a he of mutton kidney fat, and half a he of raw rehmannia juice.

Processing

Mix the powdered pine resin and other ingredients into the fat mixture and Rehmannia juice; simmer over low heat until golden yellow, then add the beeswax and strain out the residue.
