Drug Formulation

Poria 4 fen (if suffering from indigestion, add 1 to 3 fen); Acorus 4 fen (if suffering from deafness, add 1 to 3 fen); Cornus officinalis 4 fen (if suffering from itching, add 1 to 3 fen); Trichosanthes root 4 fen (if suffering from fever and thirst, add 1 to 3 fen); Cuscuta seed 4 fen (if suffering from atrophy and diarrhea, add 1 to 2 fen);Achyranthes root 4 fen (if joints are stiff, double the dose), cinnabar 4 fen (if there is internal injury, add 1 to 3 fen), dried rehmannia root 7 fen (if there is restlessness and fever, add 1 to 3 fen), Asarum root 4 fen (if vision is blurry, add 1 to 3 fen), Saposhnikovia root 4 fen (if there is wind-pathogen, add 1 to 3 fen),Dioscorea 0.4 fen (if there is itching due to yin dampness, add 1 to 0.3 fen), Dipsacus 0.4 fen (if there are hemorrhoids, double the dose), Cnidium 0.4 fen (if there is shortness of breath, add 1 to 0.3 fen), Taxus 0.4 fen (if there is weakness, double the dose), Morinda 0.4 fen (if there is atrophy and weakness, add 1 to 0.3 fen),Tianxiong 4 fen (roasted; if there is wind, add 1 to 3 fen), Yuanzhi Pi 4 fen (for fright and restlessness, add 1 to 3 fen), Shihu 4 fen (if there is body pain, double the dose), Duzhong 4 fen (if there is lower back pain due to loss of yang, add 1 to 3 fen), Congrong 4 fen (if there is cold-induced atrophy, double the dose).

Instructions for Use

Take 3 pills per dose, before meals, three times daily. Gradually increase the dose as needed until relief is felt. It may also be taken as a powder, mixed with thin congee and taken in one fangcun-measured spoonful. Relief is felt in 7 days, full recovery in 10 days, and by 30 days, vital energy is restored. Long-term use will make one feel younger even in old age.
