Instructions for Use

Place the medicine in one pig’s stomach, sew it shut with thread, and tie it with a rope to a new tile or brick to prevent it from rolling away; additionally, use half a jin of Trichosanthes root, finely chopped, and place it in water. Boil them together with the brick in one pot from morning until noon. In the morning, remove the pig’s stomach, finely chop it, and mix it with the powdered medicine to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed; air-dry them. Take 30 pills each time, washed down with rice water on an empty stomach, three times a day.

Note

Avoid alcohol, sexual activity, hot noodles, salty foods, pork, fish, scallions, garlic, and roasted or fried foods.
