Drug Formulation
1 liang of Gold Star Stone, 1 liang of Taiyin Xuanjing Stone, 1 liang of Silver Star Stone, 1 liang of Mica (white flakes), 1 liang of Daizhe Stone, 1 liang of Gui Fu, 1 liang of Talc, 1 liang of Yu Yu Stone, 1.5 liang of Cold Water Stone (from Jizhou), and 1 liang of Ungreyed Wood (blue-black in color and soft in texture).

Processing
Place the above herbs in a porcelain jar with half a scale of charcoal and calcine them. Wait until half the mass has been consumed by the fire, then remove and allow to cool. Grind into a fine powder, mix with glutinous rice porridge to form pills the size of a marble, and use once dry.

Instructions for Use
Take 1 pill per dose. Calcine the pill over charcoal until it turns bright red; remove it after a long time, allow it to cool, and grind it finely into a powder. Mix with 1 zhan of rice drink, boil until reduced to 7 fen, and take while warm, regardless of the time of day. Take another dose half a shichen later. For cases of typhoid fever complicated by medical error, a single dose can save a person’s life.
