Chinese Name : 固荣丹
Drug Formulation
Daizhashi (calcined until bright red, quenched in vinegar 21 times, baked to remove impurities, pounded, sieved, and ground to a very fine powder in a mortar) 2 liang; Gallnut (fried with wheat bran) 1 liang;Chebulic myrobalan (pitted, coarsely chopped, and stir-fried until dry) 1 liang, deer antler gelatin (coarsely chopped and stir-fried with wheat bran until crisp) 1 liang, Eupatorium (knots removed, coarsely chopped, and stir-fried) 1 liang, Angelica sinensis (coarsely chopped, washed, and root base removed) half a liang, and Ligusticum chuanxiong (washed with a toothbrush, coarsely chopped, and stir-fried) half a liang.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with powdered Daizhashi, boil with water, and form into pills using a thick paste of glutinous rice flour, each the size of a tung seed. Air-dry in the shade.

Instructions for Use
Take 100 pills at a time, washed down with rice soup, until the bleeding stops; if ineffective, take another dose.
