Drug Formulation
Magnolia Bark 1 jin (peel removed; if using the bark with ginger, combine half a jin of ginger with the bark, slice into pieces, and boil with 7 sheng of water until the liquid is completely reduced; if not using ginger, simply dry the bark in an oven), Dried Ginger 4 liang (chopped into dice-sized pieces; if using licorice, combine 2 liang of licorice cut into half-cun pieces with 7 sheng of water and boil until the liquid is completely reduced; if not using licorice, simply dry the ginger in an oven),4 liang of fennel (imported is best; lightly roasted), 2 liang of Sichuan aconite (roasted; peel and pith removed).

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder and form into pills the size of a paulownia seed using date pulp.
