Chicken-Intestine Grass, Dry Lotus Grass, Madder Root, Late Silkworm Sand, White Alum, Rock Salt, Unwormed Soapberry, and Chebulic Myrobalan—each in equal parts.

Processing
Make the mixture into pellets the size of a sesame seed. Place them in a bottle, seal the outside with a mixture of salt and mud, leaving a small opening at the top the size of a soapberry. Calcine with 5 jin of charcoal until the smoke has completely dissipated, then pound into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use
Rub onto the teeth 2–3 times daily; shortly afterward, rinse the mouth with whey.
